The Award for the most Innovative Start-up goes to:
RDS (Rythm Diagnostic System)
Supported by: 
The Start-up Slams were won by RDS (Rhythm Diagnostic Systems) and their project Multisense, a comprehensive remote monitoring system. The next objective of the young company who has just completed its 6th funding round for a total amount of 13 million euros is obtaining CE marking by the end of 2023.
“Winning the pitch session at MedFIT is a big breath of motivation and an important recognition of the hard work we put in. It feels we are in the right direction to change the patient’s pathway for the better” declared Pierre-Olivier Beal, Director of Marketing and Communication at RDS.
The sart-up received also a prize from our Supporter AIShield: AI Security Best Practices Overview and Training.
This year’s supporter of the pitch sessions, AIShield, has acknowledged the projects of our winners by offering them prizes. The company has also identified another start-up, CheckEye, to benefit from its AI-based safety assessment tool, as CheckEye’s cloud-based solution for detecting diabetic retinopathy using photographic images of the eye’s back using the ML\AI algorithm was perfectly suited for collaboration with AIShield.

The Award for the most Promising Technology goes to:
Campus Technologies Freiburg
Supported by:
The most promising technology award went to the Campus Technologies Freiburg with their project SPIFF, a single vessel dual balloon dual flow catheter to prevent fatal arrythmias episodes in post-ischaemia reperfusion.
“It was amazing, I didn’t expect that at all. This is my very first time in here attending MedFIt and it was very exciting. […] It has been a great experience, I’m very greatful to be here at MedFIT.” Enaam Chleilat, Scientist.
The project received also a prize from our Supporter AIShield: Solution Credits for AI Security Assessments Tool – AIShield Platform.
