Machnet Medical Robotics (MMR), has developed MRI compatible robotic technology, currently under evaluation for biopsy needle positioning with an unprecedented precision. The robotic solution is based upon research performed in collaboration with the University of Twente and is aiming towards increasing the accuracy of a biopsy procedure as well as improving the workflow (i.e. time it takes to complete the procedure) significantly.
