Imperial College London Dr Louie Scott is a Commercialisation Executive for the Faculty of Medicine in Imperial Enterprise, supporting MedTech, Digital Healthcare, AI for Healthcare, and Diagnostic Devices inventions arising from research at Imperial College London and translating these technologies to deliver real world impact through licensing and the formation of new spin-out ventures.
Louie holds a PhD from the University of Surrey, where he studied the application of a carbon nanotube-based tissue scaffold for iPSC-derived cardiac muscle tissue to facilitate improved cardiac physiology, as well as a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry. He also has experience in pharmaceutical R&D from Pfizer and having worked in Drug Design and Selection in GlaxoSmithKline.
